I'm Emmanuel Marcoux — musician, composer, arranger and audio engineer.
I've been working with music since 1996. Long before mastering became my profession, I experienced sound from the musician's side: writing, arranging, recording and producing music.
That still shapes the way I master today. I don't hear a track as a collection of frequencies and numbers. I hear music first.

Mastering tools matter. Monitoring matters. The room matters. But none of them decides what a track needs.
Sometimes the right move is analog EQ or compression. Sometimes it's a precise digital adjustment. Sometimes the most important decision is to leave something alone.
The value of mastering is knowing the difference.
